“My name is Jason, and my parkour hero is my son Jonah”
Jason began training at Apex in 2012, and was truly inspired by the culture and talent that surrounded him. “I decided I had to become apart of it.” Jason has always been the athletic type. He has 15 years of studying Tae Kwon Do, basketball, training for triathlons and now is happy to add Parkour as well as chasing his two kids around to his athletic resume .
Jason was not the only one in his family to gain a love for Parkour. His son Jonah soon took on a love for the sport as well, inspiring Jason to not just become a better practitioner, but as well a better teacher. “The lessons and patience I am learning as a father help me continue to grow as a coach.” His love for teaching as well as Parkour has lead to him and his family becoming a big part of the community.
